Our story
One table, and the time it takes.
Wickraft began as a handful of candles poured for friends, and grew one batch at a time into a small workshop that still checks every jar by hand.

We'd rather make two hundred candles properly than two thousand quickly. A candle sits in someone's home for weeks. It should be worth the space.

Why small batch
Slow on purpose, and it shows.
Every batch is blended, poured and cured on the same bench. That means we can taste-test a fragrance load to the gram, re-pour a jar with a sunk top, and hold back anything that doesn't burn cleanly.
It also means we run out. When a scent sells through, it comes back after the next fortnight's cure, not sooner. We think that's a fair trade for a candle that burns evenly to the last centimetre.
How it's made
Four steps, and a fortnight of waiting.
Blend
Fragrance and essential oils weighed to the gram, warmed, and held.
Pour
Soy and coconut wax poured by hand into matte black glass, one at a time.
Cure
Fourteen days in the dark so the scent settles properly into the wax.
Finish
Wick trimmed, glass wiped, lid seated, foil-stamped box closed by hand.
What goes in
Four materials, chosen once.
- 01Soy & coconut wax
- A soft, slow blend that holds fragrance well and burns cooler than paraffin.
- 02Unbleached cotton wick
- Lead-free and trimmed by hand. Sized to each vessel so the pool reaches the edge.
- 03Matte black glass
- Heavy, opaque, reusable. Wash it out with warm water and it's a tumbler or a pen pot.
- 04Foil-stamped board
- Rigid boxes, foil-stamped lids, printed cards. The box is part of the gift.
